Membership
If you are competing in the 2027 Victorian State Championships, at least ONE person on your boat MUST be a financial member of your State Association.

Somers Yacht Club is a volunteer, inclusive community where sailing unites families and friends.
We foster a passion for the sea and coastal environment, promote safe yachting in all forms and create lasting connections through shared social experiences – ensuring our club remains a welcoming, thriving hub for generations to come.
We have many social events throughout the year for members and offer many forms of sailing activities during the sailing season. The sailing season runs from October to April, and we offer training, social sailing, cruises, novelty events and short course racing. Please visit our calendar for dates. Standard racing is on Saturday afternoons and is supported by our excellent Sea Rescue facilities.
